Formulation

Each g of Fusidic Acid + Betamethasone contains:

Fusidic Acid Ph. Eur. ……………………………………………………. 2.0% w/w

Betamethasone (as Valerate) Ph. Eur. …………………………. 0.10% w/w

Chlorocresol Ph. Eur. (as preservative) ………………………… 0.10% w/w

Indications

Fusidic Acid and Betamethasone Valerate cream is indicated for the treatment of exzematous dermatoses including atopic eczema, infantile eczema, discoid eczema, stasis eczema, contact eczema and seborrheic eczema when secondary bacterial infection is confirmed or suspected.

Dosage and Administration: 

A small quantity should be applied to the affected area twice daily until a satisfactory response is obtained. A single treatment course should not normally exceed 2 weeks. In the more resistant lesions, the effect of Fusidic Acid + Betamethasone (as Valerate) cream can be enhanced by occlusion with polythene film. Overnight occlusion is usually adequate.

Rout of Administration: For topical Use

Storage: Store at temperatures not exceeding 30° C. Protect from light. Do not freeze. Keep out of the reach of children.
